Stones from the surrounding area form the centerpiece of the table and pendant luminaire. Illuminated by a small reflector aimed at the stone, the structure of the stone is accentuated by light and shadow. I wanted to focus on the contrast between the smooth and clearly defined contours of the reflector and the natural irregular surface of the stone.
